Grocery Girl Goes Gluten Free

An acquaintance of mine/facebook friend from high school has recently lost several pounds eating a gluten-free diet. She looks great. Based on her statements via facebook, I think her outlook on life is improving as well. (Yes, I’m willing to attribute that, at least in part, to diet.)

As somebody who has also battled unwarranted chubbiness (in spite of loving to cook), I’m intrigued and inspired by my friend’s progress.  Therefore, I’m embarking upon the gluten-free journey myself. Consider the next 6 weeks or so a “test run”. I will be documenting what I’m eating on this blog and as always your comments, suggestions, and encouragement are welcome.
