Monday:  Vegetable Korma

Tuesday:  Crab Stuffed Portobellos and Citrus-Mustard Dressed Greens

Wednesday:  Smoky BBQ Cheeseburgers and Crudite with Southwestern Dip

Thursday:  Rubio’s Fish Tacos

Friday:  Leftovers

Grocery Shopping List:  (Scratch items you already have in stock off the list.)

  • 2 red onions
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 limes
  • fresh ginger root, enough for 1 tsp. grated
  • a bulb of garlic
  • 3 red potatoes
  • a bunch of carrots
  • celery or celery heart
  • 1 fresh jalapeño
  • green bell pepper
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • crudite (veggies to cut up for dipping)
  • 4 large portobello mushroom caps
  • mixed green salad (bagged or assembled by you)
  • 1 head green cabbage
  • a bunch of fresh cilantro
  • a bunch of fresh parsley
  • Marzetti’s Fat Free Southwest Ranch Dip
  • 1 (8 oz.) package of crab delight flakes
  • 1 lb. of cod – fresh or frozen
  • 1 – 1 1/4 lbs. ground sirloin or other ground beef
  • Your favorite cheese – shredded or sliced (recommended:  American, Cheddar, Colby, Colby-Jack, Pepper-Jack or the like)
  • non-fat plain yogurt
  • butter
  • half and half (enough for at least 1 cup)
  • lightly salted cashews, to be broken into small pieces
  • 1 (4 oz.) can of tomato sauce
  • madras curry powder
  • grill seasoning blend (recommended: a steak seasoning blend)
  • McCormick Grillmates mesquite blend seasoning (You can substitute the steak seasoning if you’d like.)
  • garlic powder
  • bay leaves
  • salt and pepper
  • crab boil seasoning (like Old Bay)
  • hot sauce
  • 1 can of low sodium chicken stock or broth
  • lemon curd
  • your favorite salsa (I use Newman’s peach.)
  • white wine vinegar
  • dijon mustard
  • mayonnaise
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • canola oil
  • liquid smoke
  • A bottle of your favorite bbq sauce.
  • sandwich rounds or hamburger buns
  • a box of your favorite croutons
  • white, jasmine, basmati, or brown rice
  • flour
  • 1 package (12) corn tortillas
  • beer (enough for 1 cup full)
  • frozen green peas
